Announcing the latest exhibit in the Think Gallery series, Think VI is a showcase of experimental art from a stable of raw local talents. Works range from drawings of faded pop icons on computer paper to eye-popping paintings and light-hearted sequential art. The opening reception and preview acquisition opportunity on Friday, July 18 from 7–9PM is free and open to the public.
Think Gallery founder Cora Lambert launched the nomad art series in 2007 as way to expose talented local artists to their communities. The five previous installations have brought explosive energy to participating restaurants, cafes, and public spaces. Think Gallery's opening receptions have drawn raucous crowds of locals and connoisseurs alike. The excitement is palpable and the energy is infectious.
While every Think Gallery exhibition is different, one thing remains constant: The work is original and the work is affordable. Works from 16 artists range from $50–$1,200, with the average piece selling for under $500, and selling quickly.
